Directions & Parking
You and your guests will find us directly in the centre of Berlin, only five minutes by car from the main train station. Travelling by public transport is recommended. The “Bellevue” suburban train station, the “Turmstraße” subway station as well as the “Turmstraße” and “Kleiner Tiergarten” bus stops are only a few minutes’ walk away from the location.
If the guests arrive by car, the underground garages in Spree-Bogen and at the main station are recommended. Up to 50 parking spaces can be reserved in Spree-Bogen and it is also possible to arrange stopping bans in front of the front door so that buses can stop to drop off the passengers.
When trade fairs and exhibitions acquire a unique ambience thanks to their location.
Trade fairs and exhibitions – in many cases they mean that visitors find themselves in a large, full and very warm hall. A hall without a special ambience, mainly chosen for its size. Who pays attention to the ambience when it comes to specialist content and a large number of registrations? – At Bolle Meierei it is different. Our customers choose our location precisely because of its industrial charm. Because this ambience creates a very special and motivating atmosphere among the participants of every event.
Once our premises were part of a large old Berlin dairy complex. Today, they are one of the city’s most modern venues – but without losing the ambience of that time. Trade fairs, exhibitions and other event formats such as conferences or congresses are increasingly often taking place here. And very successful thanks to the overall package we offer.
A journey into the past with Bolle Meierei?
A visit to a trade fair or exhibition at Bolle Meierei can be compared to a journey into the past. Down in the foyer you are still in the here and now. Excellent service personnel take care of the arriving guests and visitors in the reception lounge. There is room to relax in between and to process the impressions. It is a must. As soon as the visitors go up the stairs to our two halls, they go straight to Berlin of the 1920s. The impressive chapel with its high brick walls and the ballroom with its unmistakable steel columns and daylight have been preserved despite all the modernisation measures. When traditional ambience mixes with modern exhibition stands, an unbeatable combination is created.
Both halls make Bolle Meierei a venue you have never seen before.
And at the same time a very practical one. The two halls with a total surface of 1,520 square metres are separated from each other, but are located directly next to each other. Visitors can easily move between them. This is particularly interesting for trade fair and conference formats. In one hall you can place various exhibition stands, in the other the audience can attend various lectures. The events will be much more vivid, lively and intense. Bolle Meierei leaves room for many creative ideas that make trade fairs and exhibitions successful.
Bolle Meierei also takes care of the organizers of trade fairs and exhibitions. Bolle’s in-house chefs ensure the physical well-being of all exhibitors, visitors and participants. And Ameron Abion-Partner-Hotel directly next door provides a restful sleep in comfortable accommodation after strenuous event days. Even if you want to go home, it’s easy. Our location is not far from Berlin’s main train station and it only takes a few minutes to get to the nearest airport. Bolle Meierei as your contact point covers all important location factors.
What to remember in the context of trade fairs and exhibitions
✓ Authorities: Whoever organises a trade fair, exhibition or market – regardless of the venue – needs a permit from the competent authorities. The reason for this is that trade fairs, exhibitions and markets are exempt from the provisions of several laws. As an approved place of assembly, Bolle-Meierei already fulfils an important prerequisite.
✓ Event date: Trade fairs and exhibitions should be announced enough in advance. On the one hand there will be enough time for the organisation and marketing of the event. And on the other hand, exhibiting companies will have sufficient preparation time.
✓ Exhibitors: A trade fair is also associated with higher costs for exhibitors. Therefore, there should be a well elaborated concept for the event that makes participation attractive to them. Simple standard trade fairs are rarely interesting, especially for special exhibitors. But if the trade fair specialises in any way, much can be gained – also for the visitors.
✓ Marketing: The success of a trade fair largely depends on the audience. In other words, how many visitors appear and whether it is the relevant group for the exhibiting company. In order to attract large numbers of trade visitors, a sophisticated marketing concept is needed.
✓ Framework programme: A trade fair and exhibition should always be more than just exhibition stands and exhibits. A good and qualitative framework programme is essential. This must be planned accordingly. For example with lectures taking place parallel to the trade fair programme.
✓ Accurate spatial planning: Room planning plays a major role in the organization of business events. The number and size of exhibition stands, the freedom of movement of the public and the technical infrastructure must always be taken into account.
